Welcome to the Northern Perspective 2026 Conference

We are excited to open this year’s conference under the theme Connected Futures a celebration of the growing opportunities and partnerships emerging across Manitoba and Nunavut. With significant federal investments being announced, this is the premier event where leaders, businesses, communities, and innovators come together to build the relationships that will define our shared future.

Northern Perspective 2026 is expected to sell out, with limited space and high demand from across the North and beyond. This year’s program features inspiring speakers, including Jordin Tootoo, unforgettable entertainment by Don Burnstick, and a dynamic showcase of Inuit Artpreneurs presenting their products and creative work throughout the week.

Join us for an impactful and culturally rich experience filled with Inuit knowledge, business opportunities, and northern innovation.

Together, we are shaping connected futures.

Connected Futures: Building Stronger Northern Networks

Northern Perspectives 2026 is a national gathering focused on trade, innovation, and community across Canada’s North.

The Kivalliq Chamber of Commerce (KCC) and Baffin Regional Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) are proud to co-host the event with the intent of gathering northern leaders, artists, policymakers, and partners from across the country to share experience and explore opportunity.

The connection between Manitoba and Nunavut is a central thread. As investment and infrastructure projects grow, so do the relationships linking communities and businesses across both regions. The 2026 program will highlight these connections and create space for practical dialogue on what’s working, what’s holding things back, and where progress depends on cooperation.

The event’s conference program will include a mix of open conversations, focused panels, and forward-looking keynotes. We hope to invite candid discussion about how systems like Northern procurement, partnership, and transportation function in practice..

Northern Perspectives will also host a tradeshow and arts market, showcasing northern products, services, and creative talent.

The result will be a space where business, culture, and community meet to turn ideas into actions.
